Did you know that your skin is your largest organ of elimination?

Your skin helps your body to rid itself of toxic matter through the sweat glands. This toxic waste matter, such as environmental pollutants in our air and water, pesticides, fertilizers, food additives and preservatives, synthetic (or man-made) chemical additives and preservatives in skin care products and modern medical drugs all have to be processed by your body. They have to be cleaned out by your liver, kidneys and lymph glands, which are part of your immune system. A layer of lymph runs just under the skin all over the body, supporting the skin's elimination functions. This lymph system is our cleaning up department. When this is congested the backlog of rubbish may be pushed out through the skin. This will manifest as boils, acne, cysts, pimples and rashes.

The skin care and repair products introduced here have been designed and refined over 30 years by Linda and tested by clients for many years. These products were created for family, friends and for the special requirements of clients.

Because of the legal requirements of the Therapeutic Goods Act in Australia and the ethical considerations of the National Herbalists Association of Australia, these oils and creams can only be made available after an initial consultation.

These oils and creams are made with herbs and flowers collected by loving hands from organic gardens in the Blue Mountains, or from the wild, far away from toxic chemical sprays and the fumes of cars. They are used whole & fresh (not dried). Some are blended into organically grown & cold pressed nut oils, kept warm for 6 -12 weeks, shaken regularly and then strained. Some are macerated into other solvent mixes to extract different properties. All the extracts need to be strained. The traditional methods used to prepare these fresh blends extracts the medicinal ingredients of the leaves & flowers while retaining the balance & energy Nature intended.

When we make the creams we use the mixing methods recommended by Rudolph Steiner and used by the Bio-Dynamics movement for their earth restoring preparations. This method enhances the synergistic energies of the products.

When I began clinical practice in 1986 I was ready at every opportunity to make remedies which people could apply to the skin. I knew from experience that herbs in the right kind of oils will be taken in through the skin quickly and easily. Just under the skin lie the blood vessels and the lymph system which soak in the plants and oils and carry them all around the body. In these early years of professional practice I had to use herbal tinctures and dried herbs to make my products for individual problems.

In 1992 I moved to the Blue Mountains, two hours out of Sydney, and began to grow my own medicinal herbs and to collect them fresh and in the wild. At last I could use the fresh clean plants I learned to use in my childhood. I found the medicines and creams I made with the fresh plants had superb results

Whenever I needed to make an ointment or cream for a client I only made a small batch of 10. As long as the lid stays on this will have it's fresh strength caught in the oils and bases for up to 12 months. The feedback from clients who use these fresh organic blends has been wonderful. They have been surprised at how fast the creams can work.
